Features Include:


1. Door Sash and Frame Cutting and Machining Centre for cutting length of one piece at a time, at 45 and 135 degrees, mitre cuts 90 degrees for square cuts, arrowheads, V notching.

  • 1.1.1 Automatic in-feed carousel magazine with 12 positions visible at a time, indexes as required by the computer software.
  • 1.1.2 Loading requirements displayed on the control console monitor.
  • 1.1.3 Special extruded anodised aluminium support sections to maintain adequate support for a variety of profile types.
  • 1.2.1 High Speed magnetic NC controlled in-feed/out-feed gripper unit to transport the full 6 metre or re-useable off cut length through the BAZ I-G machining centres, for direct delivery to the BAZ II cutting centre. Fitted with linear encoder for greater accuracy at such high speed.
  • 1.3.1 BAZ I Machining base unit.
  • 1.3.2 Electronics and fibre optic control circuitry.
  • 1.3.3 Necessary clamps and supports to hold the profile in the correct position.
  • 1.3.4 Canopy to provide for a safe working area and reduction in noise and swarf.
  • 1.3.5 Swarf catcher trays with extractor connections.
  • 1.3.6 G Module NC six axis controlled Machining unit fitted with routers and drills with ability to provide the following machining functions:-
    • Water slot drainage routers to provide drainage to the top, bottom and faces of the sections (1 x entry slot 2 x exit slot) per door
    • Anti Bow and security wedge screw position pilot
    • Lockcase router unit with movement across to produce up to a 16mm wide slot or as required
    • Door bolt routing
    • Lock keep pilots
    • Door hinge pilots
    • Door lock machining for cylinder
    • Door lock machining for lever handle fixing holes
    • Weather strip pilots for door sash
    • Upstand removal.
  • 1.4.1 High Speed NC controlled transfer gripper unit to take over the transportation of the 6 metre length through to the BAZ II Cutting centre. This unit is also fitted with the latest technology Fibre optic data transference and encoding systems.
  • 1.4.2 Profile support sections and clamps to guide the machined bar through to BAZ II.
  • 1.5.1 BAZ II Machining and cutting unit.
  • 1.5.2 Electronics and fibre optic control circuitry.
  • 1.5.3 Necessary clamps and supports to hold the profile in the correct position.
  • 1.5.4 Canopy to provide for a safe working area and reduction in noise and swarf.
  • 1.5.5 Cutting area with two saw units each driven by NC controlled axis in X and Y. These axis control the blade position in height and blade advance for mitre cuts at 45 only.
  • 1.5.6 Special TCT saw blade 'Silent tm' type.
  • 1.5.7 Waste piece conveyor to take to cut from under the saws and discharge them into your container.
  • 1.5.8 Cutting area with one saw unit driven by NC controlled axis. Tilting saw for cutting at 90 and 135 with low threshold and arrow-head cut facility also.
  • 1.6.1 High speed NC out-feed gripper unit to transport the cut pieces to the out-feed belt table.
  • 1.6.2 Motorised out-feed table approximately 3.0 metres wide x 3.5 metres deep, with small piece area.
  • 1.7.1 Control Console having Pentium industrial standard computer with:-
    • 3.5 disk drive
    • Min 8.4 GB hard disc
    • Full keyboard and hot keys
    • 12 TFT colour monitor
    • Control software and backup discs
    • Computer software to accept your data transfer link
    • DOS operating software and Beckhoff control software.
  • 1.8.1 Two dust extractors.
  • 1.8.2 Automatic label printer.
  • 1.8.3 Modem and PC Anywhere software
  • 1.8.4 Safety fencing with access doors linked to the 'emergency stop' safety system.
